My Health Forward

I first worked on a farm at 13 and discovered a passion for planting, food, and sustainability. Years later, I started My Health Forward in college to help connect people to local food sources. The movement has vastly grown since I published my first farm map in my dorm room. My work remains dedicated to regenerating America's health and soil. I use my resources to build school gardens, seed banks, and habitat restoration projects. Over the last four years, I've developed relationships with American and Hawaiian growers who are dedicated to regenerative agriculture. In addition to what I grow, I work directly with these farmers and foragers to bring you freshly harvested herbs and seeds. The organic and wild-crafted goods are free of synthetic chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. I hand pack and make all of the goods in small batches to ensure you receive potent, pure, and specially formulated quality. Engaged with Governor Newsom's office to ban artificial food dyes and harmful additives. Worked to prevent the mega-merger between Kroger and Albertsons. Started a national media campaign to end Saudi Arabian alfalfa farming in the drought stricken deserts of Arizona. Shifted consumer spending away from the duopoly on carrots to support Cuyama Valley. Helped prevent the Oregon DLCD from Restricting Small Farm Activity. Advocated for the freedom of Hawaiians from GMO seed and chemical testing. Helped block the meatpacker JBS from filing for an IPO on the NYSE. Raised over 100,000 signatures to protect Mexican coffee farmers. Revived the dwindling legacy of seeded watermelons. Helped millions of Americans support native pollinators at home. Connected 2.5 million Americans to local farms, markets, ranches, and food sources. Donated over two million heirloom, wildflower, and native grass seeds to start school gardens, community gardens, and seed libraries across the country.
