Hi I’m Leila, founder of MyOva and mum to two brilliant boys. MyOva was not created in a boardroom. It was born from one of the lowest points of my life. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19. I developed social anxiety. Baby showers and pregnancy announcements became unbearable. I started to believe my body was broken. After my fourth loss, I decided I needed to understand what was happening inside my body. PCOS is closely linked to insulin resistance and egg quality, so I immersed myself in research. I wanted evidence. I wanted data. I wanted answers. That’s when I discovered myo-inositol. The research was compelling. Study after study showed its impact on ovulation, insulin sensitivity and egg quality in women with PCOS. Yet hardly anyone was talking about it. And in the UK, it was difficult to access in a simple, consistent format. That frustration sparked an idea. If I was struggling to find evidence-based support, how many other women were too?
